Our mission: “To promote the social integration of socially disadvantaged people - and this worldwide! We want to raise awareness and tolerance of otherness in public, to create jobs for disadvantaged groups and in so doing to strengthen their self-confidence.”
On the basis of this very mission we currently have 50 blind and visually impaired employees. “Dialogue in the Dark” is an employment and qualification programme which aims at integrating people with disabilities into the labour market.
In addition, “Dialogue in the Dark” functions as one of several commercial units of the “Arbeit und Lernen Hamburg GmbH”: we integrate participants of the professional returner programme of the Federal Employment Agency as “active jobbers” on our team.
